Disaster Services American Red Cross lives up to its saying, "We'll be There" with Disaster Services. We provide food, shelter, and valuable information in the event of fire, tornados, floods, or other disasters. Our volunteers will be there for you when you need us. Project Recovery is now operating in the Oktibbeha County area to help people find ways to cope with the stress caused by Hurricane Katrina. The program provides free crisis counseling services through community outreach, public education and information, and referrals. The program is funded through FEMA and is facilitated with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
